If you are using free-air subwoofers, you will not have much choice regarding placement of the units. They will have to go either on the rear deck or behind the rear seat.

If you are using a subwoofer enclosure (any kind), you will have a few choices. The most common of these are:

• Under the front seat - The only problem here is space limitation.

• In the trunk - One might be tempted to wonder if the sound will get through. Don't worry, with a decent helping of power, it will!

• Wherever you can find the room - Some cars have space in strange places. Anywhere big enough to hold the enclosure should do.
